I have a major sweet tooth. If my restaurant reviews tell you anything, it is that I always have room for dessert and having something sweet in the house is no different. In my car, in the cupboard, you will find sweets in most nooks in the house and Panda Sweets hooked me up recently with one of their Pick N Mix Sweet Boxes.
Panda Sweets are an online retro sweet store, selling all your childhood favourites handpicked by Peanut the Panda! You can choose from over 600 sweets by sweet, brand, even colour! Or, you can do like I did, and just ask for a mix. I am so glad I did, this gigantic box of goodies arrived, all securely wrapped in plastic then placed in a cardboard box for dipping into whenever the mood hit.
The Pick n Mix box has a brilliant selection of jellies, marshmallows, sours, chocolates and more. The sweets are all different sizes as well, so if you want something more substantial there is a giant jelly snake or smaller items like dolly mixtures. My childhood favourite was in there too and I was so excited, I’d not seen white chocolate ‘fish and chips’ for years! As you can imagine, they were the first things to go quickly followed by the milk chocolate ‘tools’.
For £7.50, you get a kilo of sweets. I think this box is great value for money and I’ll definitely be ordering another. I even broke it all down into smaller bags so I could keep one in the car for when I needed to pick, and one in the cupboard for the same purpose. It makes the perfect gift for the person in your life with a sweet tooth, and any friends who need a gift idea for me, you know what to do.
