Pre-Made Cocktails From Niche Cocktails

Pre-Made Cocktails From Niche Cocktails

I know we aren’t going anywhere at the moment, so in theory we have lots of time to make our own drinks at home. But, what about when you really can’t be bothered? When you have had a particularly bad day and you just want something pre-made and ready to be drunk? That’s where Niche Cocktails come in.

Now I know it is a canned cocktail, but hear me out. The canned drink industry really has evolved over the last few years and Niche Cocktails are no exception. They use carefully sourced and natural ingredients at their Suffolk case to create a wide selection of cocktails that are meticulously mixed, to give the best experience possible in a canned cocktail form.

Their selection is seriously impressive and a few new ones available are the Pink Grapefruit Gin Fizz, Brazilian Lime Margarita and the Matcha Mojito. At an average of 8% ABV, they are also a decent alcohol strength so the sort of thing you could expect from a bar or mixing your own from scratch.

There is some really interesting flavours in the Niche Cocktail range too, we’re not talking a generic G&T here. The fizzy options could not be simpler to serve, grab a glass full of ice and pour. It is that simple. The pink grapefruit gin fizz has a lovely sour note to it and disappears quicker than you would expect. The matcha mojito has a light matcha flavour, which is perfect for me as I am not a huge matcha fan. The lime really lightens it to provide a more universal flavour that most would enjoy.

My favourite was the Brazilian lime margarita, but that won’t be a surprise to anyone who knows me. A margarita is always my first choice of cocktail when going out, and drinking in is no exception. The Niche Cocktails version packs a punch and you can really taste the tequila, with a tang of lime to round it all off. With this one, it is best popped in a shaker with lots of ice as it really helps to cool it down and serve in a margarita glass rimmed with salt. Just delicious.
