Celebrating Cherries With Stambecco Maraschino Amaro And Starlino Maraschino Cherries

Celebrating Cherries With Stambecco Maraschino Amaro And Starlino Maraschino Cherries

When asked what my favourite fruit is, there is only ever two responses that will leave my mouth. Cherry or peach. I massively indulged my peach fetish in America with peach margaritas and as much peach lip balm as I could get my hands on. Cherries, I can indulge here without much fuss. I always have a bag of frozen sweet pitted cherries in my freezer as they are so handy. I can grab a handful for my morning porridge, or top it with a quick crunchy crumble that is ready in no time. I love my drinks to have a strong cherry flavour too and the Stambecco Maraschino Amaro is such a lovely way to get that cherry fix in a unique way.

Stambecco is an amaro made in Italy, by infusing cherries and 30 different botanicals including orange, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and oregano, to create a bitter sweet liqueur that is so unique and unlike anything I have tried before.

Housed in the prettiest dimpled bottle with a luxurious stopper, it is a beautiful gift option for the drink lover as I can guarantee they won’t have tasted anything like this before.

Simply served over ice, the light dilution amps up the marzipan flavour of the Amaro with a bitter herb note and that intense cherry flavour.

Adding in the Starlino maraschino cherries really escalates the unique cherry flavour and I added a splash of Stambecco Maraschino Cherry Amaro to a glass of prosecco, garnished with the Starlino maraschino cherries. It’s absolutely delicious and a combination I can heartily recommend.
