When I don’t have time to prepare a hearty breakfast, trying to find something tasty can be difficult. I have never been much of a cereal fan but my go to has been berries, granola and yoghurt for some time. I always buy the same one as well, so when Nature’s Path Organic offered to send me some new ones to try, I was intrigued to see if it would replace my usual brand.

Nature’s Path is a family owned and run business based on the ethos that we should, ‘always leave the earth better than we found it’. Sustainability and ethical eating are both high on the agenda at the moment and Nature’s Path use the finest available ancient grains, fruits and nuts. They do not use synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers to ensure their products are as natural as possible. The majority of their products are also gluten free and vegan, which means they can be enjoyed by more people.
The Nice and Nobbly Granola is a chunky blend of granola chunks, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and yoghurt chunks. It isn’t overly sweet, which I like as I always use a natural yoghurt that I sweeten with a little honey so granola that is too sweet really knocks off that balance.
I am super lazy so a good cereal bar will always be fund in my cupboard for the days when I need to run out of the door but still have something to munch on when I get to work. The Nice and Nobble granola bars are delicious with dark chocolate running through them and a chewy consistency that still has some crunch. They are quite sweet which, with a massive sweet tooth that is good for me.

I also tried some of their cereals and the Maple Sunrise is a favourite of mine. I am a huge maple syrup fan, it was the first thing I bought when I visited Canada and maple syrup in cereal is a massive plus for me. The combination of flakes, puffs and crispy pieces gives a trio of crunch with a sweetness from the maple syrup, which means there is no need for added sugar when enjoying a bowl in the morning. Try it topped with sliced banana and raspberries for a filling breakfast that has been keeping me full until lunch. They have definitely taken over from my normal brand and I’ll be stocking up when I go to the supermarket.
