I know I have wittered on about restaurants needing our support but there are so many different areas of the hospitality industry who are also struggling. Suppliers to the trade are almost invisible to the consumer at times but they are also struggling with us being in tiered lockdown. One of those suppliers is the snack trade and, especially being in tier 3, bars are closed unless they can provide a substantial meal and crisps just don’t cut it. Some suppliers are now branching out and providing their snacks directly to the public and one of those brands is Awfully Posh, who have also released the ultimate in low carb snacks with Lomo Crisps.
Awfully Posh Lomo Crisps are made with 100% Spanish pork loin, which is seasoned with paprika and garlic before being sliced and air dried to provide the ultimate crunch. Because it is air dried and not fried, the crisps are high in protein, low in carbohydrates and perfect for those following a keto style diet plan.

The state of my nails aside, each piece is wafer thin and seriously crunchy. I expected them to be more akin to a piece of jerky with the crisps being made from meat but they’re not and definitely deliver on the crunch side. They remind me of a modern pork scratching, and are seriously delicious.
