Finding unique gifs for the foodie in your life can be tricky, but the pandemic has certainly brought out the creative side in businesses and there is so much more choice that wasn’t there before. I have a massive sweet tooth, so ChocFace would be the perfect choice for me, if you were wondering what to send me as a gift.
ChocFace make boxes of chocolates that are printed with your favourite images. The box is slim enough to pop through a letterbox and includes a personalised message, before revealing the chocolate underneath. The pretty red and gold box is really sturdy, which makes it a lovely gift.
There are 6 chocolates in each box, 1 large and then 5 smaller ones. You can either have the same image on them all or mix it up with different pictures. The pictures are printed in edible colour, that is etched onto white chocolate before being placed on top of Belgian milk chocolate. I wasn’t really sure what to do in terms of image so I just stuck my favourite thing on them…. Ferguson! I read in the reviews for ChocFace that someone printed out holiday photos that they knew their friends would want to forget, so they sent them so their friends could eat and make the photos disappear. I thought it was hilarious! There is a collection of images that you can choose from, if you aren’t feeling creative. My personal favourite is the Brexit collection. Your favourite politicians in edible form, so you could eat their faces or melt them should you desire.
Whilst ChocFace is a great novelty gift, the chocolate is really delicious too. I thought they would be quite thin and of average quality but I was wrong! The Belgian milk chocolate layer is really thick with a rich flavour. I was really impressed with the quality and they did not last long at all.
